This course is aimed at clinicians with a good level of understanding in basic orthopaedic surgery and a desire to expand what they can offer in practice.
Cruciate disease is one of the most common orthopaedic conditions seen in practice. TPLO has been shown to offer the best long-term outcome for patients of all the available techniques for cruciate disease.
Practical sessions will teach you to obtain appropriately positioned radiographs and practise preoperative radiographic planning. You’ll carry out the surgical approach and the TPLO technique in extensive guided wet lab sessions with hands-on help and invaluable practical tips from the expert and approachable tutor. Leave with the confidence and skills you need to start offering TPLO surgery through your practice
