Dental Radiography – When Things Go Wrong

Virtual Workshop

I just can’t get the angle right! How many times have you thought this when taking dental xrays? Taking diagnostic dental xrays every time for every patient takes time, practice and a thorough understanding of the subgingival anatomy of the oral cavity.

This workshop caters for the veterinary nurse/technician who has experienced challenges in dental radiography. We will look at the subgingival anatomy and address the techniques required to suit the variations in anatomy found in the veterinary patient population. Attendees will be introduced to the SLOB Rule, overcoming the challenge of the zygomatic arch in cats and other techniques to get those diagnostic images every time. Attendees will learn to troubleshoot their images and apply strategies to improve their technique.

Bring to this workshop your biggest challenge, whether it be the Upper 4th Premolar, Canine teeth in Large Breeds, or Upper Molars in Dogs, and we will workshop together strategies to improve your success.
