• Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) Surgery

One-Day Wet Lab and Workshop for Veterinarians
Brachycephalic airway disease affects many dogs bred to have short noses. These patients are under-operated because the respiratory patterns are accepted by owners as expected behaviours. The anatomical abnormalities associated with brachycephalic airway syndrome cause progressive deterioration of breathing, up to an including death. Early intervention by surgical correction can alleviate many of the clinical signs and help prevent progression.
