One-day workshop for Veterinary Nurses
This workshop is designed for Veterinary Nurses looking to enhance their knowledge of anaesthetising the compromised patient. Unfortunately, not every patient will be an ASA Risk Classification I, and it is crucial that Veterinary Nurses understand how to provide a safe as possible anaesthetic.
We strongly recommend completing our Anaesthesia for Veterinary Nurses I workshop prior to registering for this workshop.
Key Learning Areas:
• Understanding the anatomy and physiology of common disease states
• Developing individualized anaesthetic protocols for compromised patients
• Pharmacology of Anaesthetic Drugs
• What are your monitors telling you – Capnography, ECG, NIBP
• Developing protocols for the safe recovery of your patient
